Job Description:

Responsible for supervising all Bolting Activities onsite and where required delegating work to work parties and ensuring all procedures are adhered to as required by the client and Site Engineer if applicable.

 

The role requires the holder to carry out all aspects of Bolting including but not limited to; Hand Torquing, Hydraulic Torquing, Tensioning, 4 Bolt Clamps, Compact Flanges, Flange Spreading, Nut Splitting as specified in the company procedures for each operation undertaken. They should also be able to use the Bolt Calculation Software currently utilised by the Business and where required the holder should be able to give guidance/assistance/instruction to those working beneath him/her.

 

To enable you to carry out these duties the Company will allocate you an appropriate vehicle and Laptop Computer where required.

 

Knowledge, Training and Experience required :

 

• Minimum of 3 years previous experience required.
• Computer literate for updating site paperwork, trainee engineering paperwork and training modules.
• Full understanding and operation of AIM software
• All PFO / TMJI / ASME PCC1 Certification
• Good understanding of Bolt Load Calculation Software.
• Experience of working to deadlines.
• Capable of reading and understanding both Isometric and P & ID Drawings.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Excellent knowledge of all equipment used during above processes.
• Capable of looking after larger/medium/smaller Projects with increased manning levels – Excellent Man Management Skills

Local candidates to Kitimat and Terrace 6 days 10 hour shifts

Fly in Fly Out- 14/7 -10 hours a day
